Catch!Life People

Got questions? Want to get involved? Or do you just want to know who to expect to see at our events and programs? Get to know our people!

Joy Weisel

Events coordinator, Catch!Life photographer

Joy was born and raised with refugees, doing work alongside her parents. Her best friends her whole life have always been people of color and has been largely influenced by her experiences with refugees, Muslim people groups and, most imporantly, kids. If you were to break Joy down to percentages one might say she is 60% a kid person, 20% a photographer, and 20% a human rights advocate.  When Joy is not busy helping with Catch! she is working on an education at Western Washington University- Fairhaven, with a concentration designed around Multicultural education, nonprofit managment and Photography as a means of empowerment.

Please feel free to email Joy at joy@catchlife.net with any questions, comments or just to chat about kids, photography or the general topic of how cool people are.

Debbie Weisel

Programs coordinator and Administrator

Debbie started on this adventure with her husband, Robert, in the ninties and continues on now. She does the paperwork and the general organizing for Catch! but she also is the creative brain behind most of the programs we run, the mother to many (most of which are not her biological children) and a gifted artist.

Please feel free to email Debbie at debbie@catchlife.net with any questions, comments or just to chat.

Robert Weisel

Catch!Life Executive Director

Robert, along side his wife, started in on this non-profit as a translator. He continues now as the voice between many different groups and the gregarious extravert that every non-profit needs. He loves children, his books, academic conversation, and community.

Please feel free to email Robert at robert@catchlife.net with any questions, comments or conversation.
