Catch!Kids Hit the Road

After taking eight first generation, Students of Color to five

different schools in Washington and Oregon (including Western

Washington University, University of Washington, Seattle Pacific,

Portland State, and University of Oregon).

Getting to go on college tours and pretend we are students for

a day is an expereince that gets widely underestimated. As a

current college student, the only reason I ever ended up at my college is because I got to visit and I knew the second I got to the campus that I could see myself making a career for myself at WWU. Without that experience I do not know where I would be at the moment. Because just little moments do have that much power. What a privilidge it was for me to get to take that trip. What a priviledge it is for me to be able to attend college and get the education that I value so much. To get the education that allows me to do the work I do now- the work that I have such a passion for.

This is a program we hope to keep going far into the future. Thank you and blessings.

If you want to become a part of the impact these fantastic students have on the world, please consider donating to their fund at the following link.
